Answer: All day fishing charters depart at 7 AM & returns by 7 PM. Blue Bayou Charters carries up to 6 passengers, however through our associates we can accommodate larger groups. Please contact us for more specific information.

Question: Do you offer Unguided Hunting trips?
Answer: Yes- Unguided hunting trips are offered by the owner to fit your needs. For pricing and planning your hunting trip, please contact Blue Bayou Charters by phone, fax or e-mail.

Question: When is the best time to go?
Answer: Mid May through June is prime halibut fishing and late July to 1 September is prime Silver Salmon time. Whales are more frequent in July and early August.

Question: What Does Blue Bayou Charters provide?
Answer: We provide high quality fishing tackle and bait, life jackets and a Coast Guard licensed captain certified in first aid and CPR. Overnight trips include all meals. You bring your favorite snacks and any beverages you desire. We also provide you with the opportunity to have a GREAT time!

Question: What should I bring?
Answer: You should bring warm clothing and rain gear, a fishing license, sunglasses, a camera or video cam, (lunch on day trips) and yourself.

Question: Charter Warranty?
Answer: We promise to show you a safe and fun Alaska Halibut Fishing Adventure. Our experienced captains know their way around Prince William Sound and can point out sites of interest to you as well as the best fishing area's. And if it's to rough to go fishing we will refund your money or book you for a different day!

Question: Refunds?
Answer: 100% of deposit will be refunded with 14 days or more notice and 90% with at least a weeks notice. A 100% refund if unable to leave the harbor due to weather or other circumstances.
